Head of Research and Scholarship Department at the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius in Hamburg. Her work concentrates on research funding in Social Sciences and Humanities promoting interdisciplinary and international exchange, knowledge transfer and capacity building. 

She holds a master’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the Cracow University of Economics and a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the Humboldt University Berlin. Her research concentrated on securitization processes in Central and Eastern Europe, especially on security issues in foreign policy debates of the 1990s and early 2000s.
